The FX carry desk shows what holding a currency pair pays in interest, and in the same table, what it can cost you.
The scenario grid
For each pair, at your account size and leverage: carry per year in percent and in cash, one standard deviation of a year’s price movement, the round-trip spread, and how many days of carry it takes to cover that spread.
The live position
A live carry position, its value including the interest earned, and the guard that closes it if the interest turns against it or the loss passes a set limit.
